4.2 Drill Deck
4.2.1 Drilling Operation Station (Drill Shack)
4.2.1.1 Enclosures that provide protection for the drill operator from adverse weather as well as hazards from normal operations should be provided. These enclosures should be of sufficient structural integrity to also provided “limited protection” from fire and smoke exposure. “Limited protection” for a drill shack should allow the operator enough time to quickly assess the situation, don protective equipment (i.e. breathing air), activate any manual safety or fire systems and proceed to one of the EER’s.
4.2.1.2 If protected enclosures are provided, at least one EER should be accessible directly from the enclosure. Obstructions, piping, equipment or operating controls should not compromise the egress path within the enclosure.
4.2.1.3 The equipment layout on the drill deck should not create extraordinary barriers to EE. |

4.2.1.1 Необходимо предусмотреть защитные средства, которые обеспечивают защиту оператора бурильной штанги от неблагоприятных погодных условий, а также от опасных факторов при работе в обычном режиме. Такие защитные средства должны обладать достаточной конструктивной целостностью, чтобы также обеспечить «минимальную защиту» от огня и дыма. «Минимальная защита» откоса бурильной вышки должна предоставить оператору достаточно времени для того, чтобы быстро оценить ситуацию, надеть средства защиты (т.е., средства дыхания), включить любые ручные системы противопожарной и иной безопасности и уйти по одному из МАЭ.
